Different Museums

Hi, I'm going to tell you a little bit about museums. When I was younger, every day my grandma used to take me to lots of museums. My grandma works at the Jewish Museum so she took me there the most often. She showed me all of the art.

I really enjoy butterflies so one day my grandma took me to the Museum of Natural History. They have a whole room that's full of butterflies. All the butterflies were all different colors, and they were so beautiful!

She took me to the Children's Museum and a couple of days ago she took me to the Guggenheim Museum. What I liked about the Guggenheim is that it was the only round museum that I ever heard of.

One night, I put lots of my puzzles together and I made a puzzle museum. I'm going to show you a little video of me doing it. But first I want to ask you a question: What's your favorite museum to go to?

  2. That's a great idea to create a puzzle museum!

My favorite museums are the Smithsonians. It's hard to pick a favorite because they're all so different.

  4. Oh, I would love to visit your museum. Do you think there is such a thing? I love to put puzzles together and then glue them! They make beautiful artwork for my walls. I haven't been to many museums in my life, but I think I like yours the best already!

  7. you asked the question...'which is your favorite museum'? and my
new favorite is your puzzle museum!!

the reason i love to go to museums with you is because you enjoy
the art and the stories of the artists so much, that it makes me enjoy it more too. let's go back to the guggenheim soon, okay?

  11. I like the Pez Museum in Easton, PA. You should ask your parents to take you to the Crayola Factory and then you can go the Pez Museum too. I also like a bunch of art museums in Paris, France.

  12. My favorite museum is the Chicago Art Museum. I loved going there to think when I lived there a while back.

I think it's a great idea to create a puzzle museum. I bet my kids would have a lot more fun there than they would at a boring old art museum. Although my son Jack would probably prefer a car museum. And Mia would really love a princess museum. I think you're onto something here...

  17. I really have 2 favorite museums. For looking at great art, I love the MoMA. It is not too far from where I live in New York City. My other favorite museum is the Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. You know how much I love all things outer space! I'm so glad that you love museums too! They are such interesting places!

  18. I really like your puzzle museum. My favorite museum is the The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. Have you ever been there? It is really fun and such a great place to learn about science.

I kind of have a museum of my own too. In my house, I have lots and lots of toy police cars that I have on display on top of my desk. There are police cars from all over the United States.
