My Grandma's Dog, Rosie

Rosie is my grandma's dog. I love playing with her. She is a Golden Retriever. She likes to chase her Frisbee that my grandpa throws. She is a very pretty dog.

Sometimes when I sleep over at my grandma's, I sleep on a mattress and Rosie crawls onto my mattress with me. She is very soft and cuddly. She likes when I scratch behind her ears.

Do you have a dog at home?

  1. hi jordan,

Yes, I have a dog just like the one you blogged about. Oh, wait a minute. It is my dog, Rosie, that you blogged about. She loves you so much. Rosie wrote on her blog that sometimes you sleep over and she sleeps next to you. (Just kidding, she didn't start her blog yet. ha, ha)

    Love,
    Pa

  7. Do you wonder if Rosie dreams when she sleeps next to you? I wonder what dogs dream about. Maybe she dreams that you are throwing a Frisbee and she is chasing it. I would love to hear a story you write about Rosie's dreams.

  8. Growing up, I had a golden retriever, too! Her name was Betsy Lou, and she was a very sweet dog.

Now, I have a dog named Sonny. He is a lot more naughty than Betsy Lou was, but he's still very sweet.

    I like your blog!

  9. I love your blog! You are such a talented writer, I hear you'll be famous one day. I used to have a German Shepherd named Gizmo. He was my best friend until we met someone that needed him more than I did.

Have fun blogging, I can't wait to read your next story!

  14. I really like the color of your blog! I had many dogs growing up but one of my favorite was a black poodle named JoJo who we got at the animal shelter. Junie B is the way coolest!

  15. Hi Jordan! Great blog. No dogs over here, but if Jack and Mia (my kids) have anything to do with it, we'll have one someday. There's a dog named Pepper who lives next door and they're both obsessed with her.

  20. I had a dog named Isabel when I was in college. She was named after Isabel Archer, the heroine of Henry James' famous novel "Portrait of a Lady." She was a sweet dog and sometimes I miss her.

  21. Karen and I had a dog named Koda. She was really sweet and loved everyone. But she was a lot of responsibility and we are not home often and felt really bad leaving her alone so much. We decided to adopt her to a new family so she could have lots of love and lots of play time. We know she is with a great family and is having lots of fun. Dogs are very fun and loving but take a lot of time and energy!

  22. I have two dogs, Mikey and Zena. Mikey has ears that look like Captain Hook's hair and long, curly white hair on his chest that looks like a pirate shirt. So, guess what I think he should be for Halloween? Right.

However, my daughter wants him to be a pumpkin.

(Zena refuses to wear a costume so she just gets to be a dog, which is probably smarter.)
